Nearly PLN 2.5 billion of gross premiums written (according to Polish Accounting Standards) was earned by the EUROPA Group over the last three quarters of 2008. This generated net profit of PLN 77.5 billion which is a 2.5 times increase in the premiums written and a 26% higher net result as compared to the corresponding period of 2007.
